Thanks for looking through this website! It’s nice to know that you share some of my experiences, including the difficult times. I have also been exhausted since returning home, and can’t seem to get into any sort of productive groove. In fact, I don’t even feel “at home” and miss my traveling life.

I have friends coming from San Francisco to visit for two weeks, a couple I met in the Peace Corps in Romania. Showing them around will certainly keep me busy, and then my son Peter will arrive with his six-year-old son from Germany. I’ll for sure be tired then, in a different way!

I loved getting to know you and Jim, too. I’m sure we’ll find each other again on the road. In fact, I’ll probably be in San Carlos again next winter sometime.
